Nyiko Primary School proudly participated in the Provincial Science Expo Competition, representing our district with a powerful and thought-provoking project on the topic Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
The learners’ project, titled "Breaking the Silence: The Impact of Gender-Based Violence on Children and Education," explored how GBV affects learners in their homes, schools, and communities. Using surveys, interviews, and research, the project aimed to raise awareness about the emotional, psychological, and academic consequences of GBV on young people.
